Lip Blush or Ombré Lip

This treatment will finish your lips with a soft veil of colour. It works to re-shape, re-define & visually enhance lip size. **Add $100 for naturally large lips or deeper, pigmented colours ("lipstick look").

This classic application accentuates just the contour by depositing a perfect fine line of colour on the very edge of your lips. **NOTE: Line cannot be placed outside the lip tissue.

Before the Lip Procedure:

For best results, you must come with soft, moisturized lips. If you are prone to dryness, exfoliate your lips with either a home-made sugar scrub or damp toothbrush 1 week prior to treatment. Every night, gently scrub lips, then apply a thick layer of Vaseline, Aquaphor or Raw Honey, cover with cellophane & let absorb for 10 min. *PLEASE DON'T EXFOLIATE THE NIGHT BEFORE TREATMENT*

NO alcohol for 48hrs before your appointment.

Unless medically necessary, NO Aspirin, Advil or Ibuprofen for 48hrs prior. *PLEASE TAKE TYLENOL if SENSITIVE*

Limit caffeine & other stimulants day of the procedure.

Do not tan or come with a sun burnt face.

Avoid vigorous exercise day of the procedure.

If possible, discontinue blood thinning supplements & herbal remedies such as Fish Oil, Garlic, Ginkgo Biloba, Niacin, Vit E, Q10 etc... 1 week prior to treatment.

NO Lip Fillers at least 3 weeks before & 3 weeks after.

NO laser treatments, chemical peels, microdermabrasion etc... 2 weeks before & after treatment.

Things to consider:

If you have EVER had cold-sores / herpes on or around the lips, you MUST get PRESCRIPTION VALTREX 500mg or ZOVIRAX 400mg PILLS from your Doctor. You'll need ~16 pills in total. Start by taking 2 pills the night before treatment. Continue by taking 2 pills in the morning & 2 pills at night until the area is free of scabbing. *If you neglect to take this anti-viral medication, the treatment will stimulate an outbreak, which may compromise your results.*

Not all make-up colours or effects are attainable with Cosmetic Tattooing. We strongly suggest anyone considering Lip Blush submit photos for review.

If your natural lip colour is dark, brown, pigmented or uneven due to pigmentation you may NOT be a good candidate for Lip Blush. Unlike regular cosmetics, Permanent Make-Up sits underneath the outer layers of skin & does not cover existing skin tone. In certain cases, tattooing an already dark lip can turn it even darker as it can stimulate additional melanin production. Anyone with an ethnic background or DARK SKIN tone, will need special consideration. PLEASE send us a photo of your lips before booking a treatment.

MicroPigmenation is an art, not a science. Client results will vary depending on skin condition & type, lifestyle and aftercare. Results are not guaranteed, especially on problematic skin.
